ABOUT SUAVE DANCE

Fernando is the Director and owner of Suave Dance Studio, teaching Latin dancing for more than two decades.

He is one of the most senior Instructors here in Sydney and Australia, with a vast experience in teaching and dancing to Latin music, with a unique Suave style.

Fernando has traveled the world teaching, performing and competing, which has given him the experience and knowledge required to teach how to dance at any level.

Australian born, but raised in South America (Chile), Fernando has been a professional dancer for 23 years, winning Championships here in Australian, and overseas, also been a finalist (5th) in the World’s most prestigious Street Salsa Competition: Club Mayan, in Los Angels, USA.

He has taught and performed at many Salsa & Bachata Congresses around the world, as well as in every state in Australia. A teacher of Beginners and Advanced Dancers, has trained several Australian Champions and Performance Teams, and also has taught Instructors on how to teach dancing.

Whenever you watch him dance or teach, you can see the passion and love for the Latin music he has, that takes over naturally when you watch a master move, smoothly and effortlessly, which can only be described as: “SUAVE”
